Words First is seeking amazing, self-motivated Occupational Therapists who are passionate about helping children access their education to join our rapidly growing MDT in London and the surrounding areas.

As a Words First Developing Specialist OT, you will plan and deliver a student centred occupational therapy service to a personal caseload of children with a diverse range of needs across mainstream primary, secondary and specialist provisions, catering to universal, targeted and specialist levels. You will spend 5 days a week in schools, supporting between 1 and 5 schools within a reasonable commute from your location.

• Passionate about and experience in working with children
• Strong report writing skills
• More than 4 years’ experience as a paediatric OT, preferably working in a school setting
• Interest in developing a specialism in the area in which you work
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
• Full HCPC registration or be in the process of registration
• DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) Check*
